Jackson BPW to host speaker
The Jackson Business and Professional Women will host Mary Pollack, legislative vice president of the Michigan National Organization for Women (NOW) at noon on Tuesday, April 24 at the Cascades Manor House, 1970 Kibby Road in Jackson.
Pollack will present data on the wage gap in the United States, discuss Michigan's efforts at addressing the issue, present the need for stronger laws to remedy it, and suggest several ways to reduce the wage gap in a work place.
