The Washtenaw County Bar Association's New Lawyers Section is looking for local lawyers willing to donate two hours of their time during Law Day, U.S.A. on Tuesday, May 1.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at two locations: Ann Arbor Community Center, 625 N. Main Street, and the Ypsilanti District Library, 229 W. Michigan Ave.
Available two-hour slots are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
During Law Day, U.S.A., the public is invited to come in for a free consultation of up to 30 minutes. Areas of the law most needed are family, employment, landlord/tenant, probate, consumer, SSI/SSD, bankruptcy, general civil, foreclosures, real estate and landlord/tenant.
To volunteer, call Candy Newton at 734-994-4912 or newtonc@ewashtenaw.org.
