Jackson Health Reform Forum planned for May 31
The Michigan Unitarian Universalist Social Justice Network (MUUSJN) will sponsor a workshop on "The Affordable Care Act - What's In it for You" from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, at the Word of Light Christian Center, 800 S. Cooper in Jackson.
This forum will include professional presentations on how the new national health reform law can benefit women and older persons followed by a question and answer period and is part of a multi-stop tour that will also take make stops in Brighton and Birmingham.
Four Jackson area congregations are co-sponsoring this event, including the Unitarian Universalist Church of East Liberty; St. John's United Church of Christ; First Congregational United Church of Christ and the Word of Light Christian Center.
