Help support the MSU mobile Law Clinic
Satisfy your State Bar of Michigan Pro Bono obligation with a $300 donation to the Mobil Law Clinic
What is the Mobile Law Clinic? It is a Law Clinic on wheels featuring a small law office, complete with computers with internet access and printers. Since taking the road last fall student clinicians have traveled to Northern Michigan and throughout the Upper Peninsula, as well as other local areas, addressing tax, housing and small business matters with potential clients.
How can $300 help? A gift of $300 will provide fuel for 1000 miles of driving - all the way to the Upper Peninsula and back! A gift of $300 will provide much needed upkeep and maintenance for the Clinic. A gift of $300 will provide materials and supplies for the Clinic and staff as they provide services to those in need.
How can I become a sponsor? Make a gift by December 31, 2012, and your name (or designee) will be featured on the Mobile Law Clinic for all of 2013.
As we travel through the state of Michigan, your passion for the legal needs of others will be featured. Your generosity will enable us to serve even more people who struggle with things like foreclosures, tax debt and other legal issues. We need your help to continue to serve the underprivileged.
If you don't have a State Bar of Michigan pro bono obligation, you can simply make a gift to help provide free legal services to those who need it but do not have the means.
You may make an online donation at http://www.law. msu.edu/donate. Designate "Clinical Programs" as the recipient of your gift.
For additional information contact us taxclinic@law.msu.edu
or to make a gift over the phone call 517.336.8088 (ext. 4).
Many, many thanks for your sponsorship of this meaningful addition to the Legal Clinic!
