David Lick to present course at University of Western Ontario
LANSING, MI - David Lick, a shareholder in Foster Swift's Lansing Office, will teach a course on Public Private Partnerships (P3) to law students at the University of Western Ontario. Mr. Lick will be joined by the Canadian Consulate General Roy Norton, who will address the class. Consulate Norton has been a very active supporter of public private partnerships and specifically the new international trade crossing bridge between Detroit and Windsor. This course is a sequel to previous lectures presented by Mr. Lick at Dalhousie University in Halifax and at Babes Bolyai University in Romania.
On December 12, David Lick completed a webinar on P3 for the Council of Development Finance Agencies (CDFA). Visit http://bit.ly/P3-Finance-Intro to view Mr. Lick's presentation. He has also presented P3 information to the Design Build Institute of America, Michigan Chapter, the Michigan Aerospace Manufacturers Association, and Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
David Lick has experience in the areas of Finance, Design Build and Construction Law, Commercial Litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Public Private Partnership Law. These experiences have helped him to develop many state of the art P3 projects. He maintains memberships with the National Council for Public Private Partnerships, the Canadian U.S. Business Association, the Owners and Developers Association, and the Michigan Agri Business Association.
David Lick is adjunct faculty at Michigan State University for MSU Canadian studies and is a member of the Great Lakes International Trade and Transport Hub.
