Cooley Law School celebrated Martin Luther King Jr. Day Jan. 21, 2012, with a presentation by Central Michigan University political science professor Joyce A. Baugh, author of The Detroit School Busing Case, Milliken v. Bradley and the Controversy over Desegregation. Baugh spoke on "The Color Line in Metropolitan Detroit: Segregated Housing and Segregated Schools."
In addition to the evening presentation by Professor Baugh, Cooley students, faculty, and staff honored the memory of Dr. King with a day of volunteer service at organizations around Lansing.
