Jaffe's Ann Arbor office welcomes new attorney
Shalini Nangia has joined Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C., as an associate in the firm's Ann Arbor office, Jaffe CEO Bill Sider has announced.
Nangia is a member of Jaffe's litigation practice group and specializes her practice in family law litigation, including divorce, custody, child support, paternity, property divisions, retirement benefits and post judgment matters.
She was previously an associate at Moran, Raimi, Goethel & Karanani, P.C, and a staff attorney for the Legal Aid & Defender Association in Detroit.
In addition to developing her practice she mentored and taught family law class to students at Wayne State University Law School, she organized statewide attorney trainings and participated in outreach programs with community organizations.
A graduate of Ohio State University, Nangia graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree and then attended The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law for her juris doctorate. Nangia is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and is co-chair of the Family Law Section for the Washtenaw County Bar Association.
