District Courts offering limited amnesty program
Two of Washtenaw County's District Courts are offering an amnesty program for certain types of tickets from March 1 through April 30.
During this period, the 14A and 14B District Courts will waive all penalties and late fees for outstanding traffic civil infractions and parking violations. The $45 clearance fee for those who have had their license suspended by the Michigan Department of State cannot be waived and must be paid before the license can be reinstated.
The amnesty program only applies to tickets issued on or before December 31, 2011 and the ticket must have been issued under the jurisdiction of one of the four 14-A District Courts or the 14-B District Court in Ypsilanti Township.
To pay a ticket under the jurisdiction of one of the 14A District Courts, contact any of the 14A District Courts for additional information:
14A-1 Ann Arbor 734-973-4545
14A-2 Ypsilanti 734-484-6690
14A-3 Chelsea 734-475-8606

To pay a ticket under the jurisdiction of the 14B

at 734-483-1333
Tickets issued in one of the 14-A District Courts may only be paid in the 14-A District Court, while tickets for the 14-B District Court must be paid at the 14-B District Court
