Middle school students visit Cooley for a look at law school, law careers

Cooley Law School hosted 50 middle school students from Albion Public Schools March 15 as part of GEAR UP (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs) from Michigan State University. Students experienced a mock class on Fourth Amendment rights taught by Cooley Professor Patrick Corbett (standing), presentations on how to get into law school and what they can do with a law degree, a question and answer session with Cooley students Luther Bunting and Irena Brooks, and a visit to one of the law school’s courtroom-style classrooms.
