Friends of Ingham County Veterans Treatment Court receive grant.

Friends of the Ingham County Veterans Treatment Court are thankful for the 2013 grant from the Ingham County Bar Foundation and SCAO.

The Ingham County Bar Foundation approved a grant to the Friends of the Ingham County Veterans Treatment Court for $1,000.00.  The “Friends” provide financial assistance to and for the benefit of veterans under the jurisdiction of the Matt Brundage Memorial Ingham County Veterans Treatment Court.  The State Court Administrator's Office provided a grant in the amount of $65,000.00 as well.

Board President Larry Salstrom is grateful for the financial assistance:  “This money permits us to continue to assist with the ongoing costs for training and to assist with expenses of the veterans within that Court.”

The ICVTC was established in 2010 under the efforts of the Honorable David L. Jordon (Ret). It is one of the first courts of its kind in the State of Michigan.
