Wayne Law graduates most top lawyers in Michigan
Wayne State University Law School is first in the state when it comes to graduating highly regarded attorneys, according to the November-December 2013 issue of DBusiness magazine.
Kapp Promoted to Captain, Commander of Third District
Prior to his promotion, Kapp served as inspector and assistant commander of the Third District.
Kapp enlisted with the department in 1988, graduating as a member of the 103rd Trooper Recruit School. He has served in positions at the Owosso, Detroit, Manistee and Brighton posts. Kapp has also served as commander of the Michigan Intelligence Operations Center, as well as held positions within the Executive Protection Section, Criminal Investigations Division and the First District and Third District headquarters. He has held the ranks of trooper, sergeant, detective sergeant, detective lieutenant, first lieutenant, detective first lieutenant and inspector.
Kapp holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Grand Valley State University. He is a native of Mackinaw City and is a graduate of Mackinaw High School.
