Judge Alderson was appointed to the bench in 2001, and continuously re-elected since her appointment. She has presided over the 54-A District Court’s Sobriety Court since its inception in 2005, and has served on the board of the Michigan District Judges Association. Judge Alderson’s current community involvement includes board membership for the Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
