Huff joins Bernick Radner & Ouellette
Bernick Radner & Ouellette, P.C. recently announced that Carrie E. Huff has joined the firm as an associate attorney. Huff's practice focuses in the areas of domestic relations/family law, personal protection litigation and general civil litigation. She has been named a Michigan Super Lawyers' Rising Star every year since 2011 and was named one of the top 5 attorneys under the age of 35 for the Ingham County Bar Association in 2013.
Huff attended Belmont University (B.A. 2000) in Nashville, Tennessee on a Division I scholarship to play soccer. She moved to Michigan in 2000 to attend The Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where she was her class president and director of the intermural program from 2000 to 2002. Huff graduated from The Thomas M. Cooley Law School in January 2003 and was admitted to the Michigan bar in May 2003. Carrie also was admitted to the New York State Bar in October 2004.
Huff is founder of the first Tri-County Family Law Organization in Mid-Michigan and has devoted her time in promoting unity, uniformity and community involvement between practitioners, judges, and friend of the court personnel on family law and personal protection issues. She served as co-chair of the Ingham County Bar Association Family Law Section from 2009 until 2012, is a member of the Family Law Section for the State Bar of Michigan and Ingham County Bar Association and is a member of the Real Property Section for both the State Bar of Michigan and the Ingham County Bar Association. She is actively involved in numerous community groups and committees and has authored, published, and lectured for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education for the state of Michigan on custody, parenting time, and child support.
