Sinas Dramis attorney completes marathon to honor Detroit lawyer
Personal injury attorney Stephen Sinas, of the Sinas Dramis Law Firm in Lansing, completed the 11th annual Metro Health Grand Rapids Marathon on Sunday, October 19, turning in his personal best marathon time.
Sinas used the marathon as an opportunity to fund-raise for the Jacqueline E. Bayley Foundation (JEBF), dedicated to raising money for ovarian cancer research and awareness and started in honor of Steve's friend, Jacqueline ("Jackie") E. Bayley, who died in 2011 from ovarian cancer at the age of 34. A Grand Rapids native and graduate of Forest Hills Northern High School, Bayley attended the University of Michigan for college, and earned her law degree from the University of Notre Dame, before working as an attorney in metro Detroit.
In addition to the Sinas Dramis Law Firm making a significant donation to JEBF, other law firms, attorneys, and medical professionals throughout Michigan helped contribute to the marathon fundraising efforts. Donations are tax deductible. For information or to donate, please visit http://jeb-foundation.org.
