54-B District Court closed to the public Jan. 30

 East Lansing 54-B District Court Chief Judge Andrea Andrews Larkin has announced that the 54-B District Court, 101 Linden St., will be closed to the public on Friday, Jan. 30. 

The court will be conducting a Physical Case Inventory, which is required annually by the Supreme Court.  
Court offices will not be open for walk-in arraignments or payments; however, previously scheduled courtroom activity, including felony preliminary exams, may be conducted. Defendants and witnesses should report directly to the appropriate courtroom. 
The Criminal Division's telephones will not be in service on Thursday, Jan. 29, as the Criminal Division's inventory will take place over two days, Thursday and Friday, January 29-30.
Drop boxes are available at the Police Desk, 409 Park Lane, and the East Lansing City Hall parking lot, 410 Abbot Road, for filings and payments.
