The Mid-Michigan WLAM region will hold its annual dinner 5 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 24, at the University Club, Room B107 Henry Center, Michigan State University, 3435 Forest Road, Lansing MI 48910.
The featured speaker is attorney Nell Kuhnmuench, owner of GCSI (Governmental Consultant Services, Inc), a multi-client lobbying firm.
Kuhnmuench, who has been voted Michigan's top lobbyist and consistently recognized as the state's most effective woman lobbyist, served for eight years as Chief of Staff for two Speakers of the Michigan House of Representatives, the first woman to serve in this position. She clerked for the Michigan Supreme Court and was the first Cooley Law School graduate to serve in this position.
Recipient of the 2010 Athena Award in the Greater Lansing area for her outstanding contributions to the mentoring of professional women, Kuhnmuench also serves on the East Lansing School Board
