Jason W. Pearson has joined Willingham & Coté in East Lansing, and is a member of the firm's Litigation Group. His practice focuses on no-fault litigation and insurance coverage.
Pearson completed his law degree at Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where he served on the Cooley Law Journal and was awarded the Best Associate Editor in 2009.
He was also awarded the Distinguished Graduate Award in 2010 for his leadership, academics and community service.
While at Cooley, he volunteered for the Service to Soldiers program, which locates pro bono legal services for soldiers returning from deployment or who are about to ship out.
Pearson is a veteran of the 10th Mountain Light Infantry Division of the United States Army in Fort Drum, New York. He deployed to Bosnia/Herzegovina as a member of the United Nation's Stabilization Force (SFOR) and International Force (IFOR), where he provided security for American dignitaries, such as former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.
