Attorney Traci R. Gentilozzi has joined The Sinas Dramis Law Firm as the firm’s new Communications Counsel.
The addition of Gentilozzi enables the firm to further its longstanding commitment to “helping people know the law,” particularly the complex areas of Michigan personal injury law, the auto no-fault legal system, and other subjects related to the rights of injured people.
As Communications Counsel, Gentilozzi will work with the attorneys and use her legal and journalistic skills to provide timely legal information and analysis to the general public, and to persons interested in these areas of the law.
Gentilozzi brings nearly 25 years of experience to her new role. Most recently, she owned and operated 360 Legal Solutions, PLLC, a Lansing-based legal content development and management company, and was a legal marketing consultant with Rain BDM in Bloomfield Hills.
In addition, she spent 14 years at Michigan Lawyers Weekly, where she held the positions of publisher and editor, and news editor, among others.
She has also worked as an analyst at the Michigan Supreme Court’s State Court Administrative Office, maintained a private law practice, served as an editor at Ohio Lawyers Weekly, and wrote for the State Bar of Michigan’s e-Journal.
Gentilozzi’s work has been recognized over the years. In 2013, she received the “Excellence in Journalism Award” from the Society of Professional Journalists, Detroit Chapter. And during her tenure as publisher and editor of
Michigan Lawyers Weekly, the newspaper received the State Bar of Michigan’s “Wade H. McCree Award for the Advancement of Justice.”
Gentilozzi is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and its Law Practice Management & Legal Administrators Section, as well as the Ingham County Bar Association.
A 1989 cum laude graduate of the West Virginia University School of Journalism, she earned her law degree in 1992 from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, where she was a law review associate editor.
