Buhl named to 'Women in the Law'

Rosemary H. Buhl, an alumna of Michigan State University and MSU College of Law and a shareholder with Little, Lynwood & Harris, PLC in East Lansing, has been selected by Michigan Lawyers Weekly as one of the class of 2016 Women in the Law.

She will be honored at an awards luncheon on Sept. 15 at the Detroit Marriott in Troy.

The selection criteria included commitment to excellence in the practice of law, inspiring and accomplished leadership in the profession, mentoring, and significant contributions of time and effort to volunteer and/or pro bono activities.

Buhl, who practices in the fields of elder law, Medicaid planning, estate planning and trust and estate administration, is a past chair of the Elder Law and Disability Rights Section of the State Bar of Michigan, co-chair of the Ingham County Bar Association Probate and Trust Section, and past chair of the Greater Lansing Estate Planning Council.

In 2015 she was awarded the Call to Justice Award by Elder Law of Michigan.

Buhl and her family are active parishioners at St. Thomas Catholic Church in East Lansing. She and her husband Andy are the parents of five school age children, and she also finds time to coach her children's athletic teams.
