MSU Law will host a party on Friday, Sept. 16, at the Tiger Club inside Comerica Park (the former site of Detroit College of Law) at 2100 Woodward Ave., Detroit.
All DCL and MSU Law alumni are invited to join in celebrating “MSU Law: Past, Present and Future.”
The celebration will recognize all graduates of all classes, with special emphasis on those celebrating 5 to 50+ years in 5-year increments – the great Detroit College of Law classes of 1966 and earlier, 1971, 1976, 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996, and MSU College of Law Classes of 2001, 2006, and 2011.
Graduates of 1966 and earlier are invited to join MSU Law Dean Larry Ponoroff for a champagne toast in the Lexus Cigar Lounge at 5:30 p.m. to celebrate 50+ years since graduating from the Detroit College of Law.
The event, costing $60 per person, includes cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and strolling dinner, with live entertainment from the AnTekes.
Attire can be business or dressy.
The Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center is offering a special group rate of $149 per night.
