Michigan State University’s undergraduate Mock Trial Team is hosting its 4th annual intercollegiate trial advocacy competition in which students take on roles as attorneys and witnesses.
The Red Cedar Classic Invitational mock trial is set for Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 22 and 23 at Berkey Hall, 509 E. Circle Drive, East Lansing, MI 48824.
This year is a civil case where students must represent both the plaintiff and defense. Organizers are seeking volunteer judges to evaluate the students’ performances and preside over the trials. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
For information, contact Assistant Attorney General Scott R. Shimkus, head coach, at srshimkus@gmail.com. Judges can also sign up at https://goo.gl/forms/lD0kOqM045YluSpc2.
