New York copyright attorney Raymond Dowd (left) was the featured speaker September 14 at the Jewish Bar Association of Michigan’s presentation, “The Holocaust: Legal and Ethical Issues Over Nazi Art Looting.” The program, which was co-chaired by Detroit area attorneys Richard Herman (right) and Jonathan Schwartz, took place at the Holocaust Memorial Center in Farmington Hills and addressed issues stemming from the claims of Holocaust survivors and their families, who have fought to return art looted from them during the Nazi reign.
