Personal injury attorney Bryan J. Waldman, a partner at the Sinas Dramis Law Firm in Lansing where he oversees the Bicycle Law Group, was named "Michigan Cyclist of the Year" by Programs to Educate All Cyclists (PEAC), a non-profit organization empowering those with disabilities through cycling, active transportation and self-advocacy education.
Waldman received the award for his tireless efforts representing injured bicyclists across Michigan and fighting for cyclists' rights, and legislative efforts to make the roads safer for cyclists.
Waldman is a member of Bike Law, a national network of attorneys representing bicyclists and educating the non-cycling community about cyclists' rights. A competitive cyclist, he is a board member of the League of Michigan Bicyclists (LMB) and, in 2013, received the LMB's "Bicycle Advocacy Award."
A past president and a member of the Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ), Waldman also is a member of the Coalition Protecting Auto No-Fault (CPAN), the Ingham County Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the American Constitutional Society and the American Civil Liberties Union.
A graduate of Wayne State University Law School, Waldman teaches a course on auto no-fault law at Michigan State University College of Law.
