Detroit Mercy Law marks Constitution Day

Acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan Daniel L. Lemisch (’89) delivered a lecture titled “The U.S. Constitution: A Prosecutor’s Perspective” at his alma mater in honor of Constitution Day last week. Lemisch is an Adjunct Professor at Detroit Mercy Law, teaching a course on evidence. Lemisch (left) was welcomed by Dean Phyllis L. Crocker and J. Richard Broughton, associate dean of Academic Affairs. Lemisch formerly served as Chief of the Criminal Division, Deputy Chief of the Controlled Substance Unit, and—prior to joining the Justice Department—as Chief of Appeals at the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office.
