Michigan State University College of Law 3L students Mitch Piper (left) and Joe Juszak, were finalists at the recent Wechsler National First Amendment Moot Court Competition in Washington D.C., and also received the award for best brief. The team, coached by Professor Jennifer Copland, argued the final round before the Hon. Timothy Dyk (United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit), Reggie Walton (United States District Court for the District of Columbia), and Paul Clement (former Solicitor General who has argued more cases before the United States Supreme Court than any other private attorney). This is the third consecutive year that MSU Law has been in the final round of the Wechsler competition.
