Mallory-Van Dyne-Scott Bar Association elects officers for 2017-2018

The Mallory-Van Dyne-Scott Bar Association, the association of African-American attorneys and judges practicing in Genesee County elected officers for 2017-2018 last month. Officers elected include  Angela Wheeler, President; Vinson Carter, Vice-President; I’lanta Robbins, Secretary; Torchio Feaster, Treasurer; Judge Herman Marable, Jr. ,Judge G. David Guinn, Anthony Maxwell and Trachelle Young, Members of the Board of Directors.
 The Mallory-Van Dyne-Scott Bar Association was founded in 1989, and takes its name from Dudley Mallory, R.M.Van Dyne, and Elisha Scott, three of the earliest African-American attorneys in Genesee County.
 The mission of the Association is to enrich the community by zealously advocating on behalf of the under-represented and to educate the public and enhance the justice system through scholarship, public service and education.
