The 44th annual “Big Ten Party,” one of the highlights of the holiday season for the Oakland County legal community, took place Wednesday, Dec. 13 at Santia Hall in Keego Harbor, drawing scores of merry-makers to the festive event that ranks as a holiday tradition for those with ties to the local bench and bar. Originally, the party was the brainchild of attorneys Parvin Lee, John Rogers, and the late Jim Flynn. Over the years, the sponsors of the party swelled to 10 attorneys, including Larry Russell, who died in the fall of 2015. Pictured (l-r) are Kurt Schnelz, Tom Ryan, Kelly Allen, Robert Badgley, Bob Kostin, and Ethan Holtz.
