FBA Honoree

Thomas Cranmer (center), a senior principal and co-leader of the Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of Miller Canfield, was presented with the 2018 Civility Award at the Federal Bar Association’s 39th Annual Dinner at the Atheneum Hotel on June 21. Cranmer, pictured with FBA Past President Jeffrey Appel (left) and FBA President Saura Sahu, is a past president of the State Bar of Michigan as well as a past president of Oakland County Bar Foundation and the local FBA Chapter. Over the course of his illustrious legal career, Cranmer has earned a host of honors, including the FBA’s Leonard R. Gilman Award and the WMU/Cooley Law School Integrity in the Community Award. Earlier in June, Cranmer was saluted by the Oakland County Bar Association, receiving its annual Professionalism Award.
