Courtney Q. Moore, Esq. joined Hirzel Law, PLC in October of 2018. Ms. Moore focuses her practice on community association law and real estate law. She graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2015. In law school, Ms. Moore served as the Secretary for the Women’s Law Caucus and competed on the Moot Court Board of Advocates, notably at the Saul Lefkowitz Trademark National Competition. She received various academic awards as well as the Dean’s Scholarship and the Virginia and Leo Sirotnik Scholarship. Before joining Hirzel Law, PLC, Ms. Moore sharpened her trial skills as a Wayne County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney where she independently tried dozens of felony cases. After leaving the Prosecutor’s Office, Ms. Moore refined her civil litigation skills a few mid-sized litigation firms before joining Hirzel Law, PLC.
Kayleigh B. Long, Esq. joined Hirzel Law, PLC as a law clerk before passing the Michigan Bar in October 2018. As an attorney, Ms. Long focuses her practice in the areas of appellate law, community association law and civil litigation. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in May 2018, where Ms. Long graduated summa cum laude. During law school, Ms. Long served as the Senior Executive Editor on Indiana Law Review where her Student Note was selected for publication. She also was on the Dean’s List all three years of law school and she received the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law Silver Level Award for Pro Bono Service.
