As retirement beckons, Oakland County Circuit Judge Wendy Potts received a special proclamation December 6 from the Oakland County Board of Commissioners. A member of the Circuit Court bench since 1998, Judge Potts has enjoyed an illustrious legal career, highlighted in 2010 when she was presented with the Champion of Justice Award from the State Bar of Michigan. Pictured with Judge Potts, who sported a nifty “1200” hat signifying the Telegraph Road address of the courthouse, are (l-r) her husband, attorney David Potts; Commissioner Shelley Goodman Taub, Board Chairman Michael Gingell, and Commissioner David Woodward.
Pictured left to right, are outgoing County Commissioners Hugh D. Crawford, Tom J. Berman, Doug Tietz, and David E.S. Bowman. Also leaving the Board but not pictured are Commissioners Bill Dwyer and Wade Fleming.
