The Michigan State Police (MSP) Jackson Post will host a Citizens’ Academy, starting Thursday, Oct. 3, and ending Nov. 14.
The seven-week academy will give people the opportunity to become familiar with the mission and operation of the MSP, understand the procedures troopers follow, increase their awareness of law enforcement’s role in the community, and get to know personnel at the Jackson Post.
The academy will meet from 6 to 9 p.m., Thursdays, at the Jackson Post.
Contact Trooper Travis Fletcher at 517-930-1829 to receive an application or stop in or call 517-780-4580.
