Court lifts COVID public health restrictions

On June 28, 2021, the Ingham County 30th Circuit Court lifted all COVID public health restrictions for employees and for the public entering the Veterans Memorial Courthouse.  This change aligns with direction provided by the State Court Administrative Office and the Return to Full Capacity (RTFC) Guidelines, Phase 4 operations. Accordingly, COVID health screening, face coverings and social distancing practices are no longer required of court employees or the public.

The Michigan Supreme Court continues to encourage trial courts to conduct proceedings virtually to the maximum extent possible.  Please contact the appropriate judicial office for guidance regarding whether your hearing will be held virtually or in person.   You may also visit cc.ingham.org  for additional information.

Effective July 1, all 30th Circuit Court filings must be made in person or by mail.  The Circuit Court will no longer accept email filings; the last day to submit email or facsimile filings was June 30.

The Ingham County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office is open to the public from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with the exception of major holidays.
