After collecting 28 boxes of coats, socks, and bedding, in early March, WMU-Cooley Law School’s Homeland and National Security Emergency Response and Education Association collected an additional 18 boxes to assist Ukrainian refugees. The boxes were part of a joint effort with Monroe Community College and the Ukrainian American Crisis Response Committee of Michigan. Items were dropped off at a warehouse in Hamtramck. (l-r) Kati Komorowsky and Shartel Keith-Groves delivered items.
