Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flint and Genesee County’s mission to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite power and promise of youth. Mentorship empowers youth to blossom, realizing their full potential. This goal is accomplished through the collective passion and commitment of our dedicated families, mentors and community partners.
On November 12, 2022, Big Brothers Big Sisters will host its Big Celebration! The evening will celebrate 79 years in the community by honoring the individuals and community supporters who are a part of the strong legacy of cultivating potential in Flint and Genesee County. The theme for this year’s event will be “Give Them Their Flowers.” The expression is a reminder to show appreciation, honor, and gratitude as often as we can, while we can.
The event will take place at Huntington Bank Headquarters in downtown Flint, from 6-9pm. We invite the public to join us for an evening of dining, entertainment, and commitment to strengthen the resources necessary to sustain our community’s most impactful and professional one-to-one mentoring organization in Flint and Genesee County history.
