'Domestic Violence and Economic Abuse' webinar presented by PAAM will be discussed online on Thursday, March 16

The Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan’s Violence Against Women Project will present the webinar “Domestic Violence and Economic Abuse” on Thursday, March 16, from noon to 1:30 p.m. via Zoom.

This webinar discussing domestic violence and economic abuse, will be presented by Dr. Adrienne Adams, an associate professor in the Department of Psychology and a member of the Research Consortium on Gender-based Violence at Michigan State University. Her research focuses on economic abuse and the economic effects of intimate partner violence (IPV) for survivors. 

In addition to her research, Adams has expertise in designing and evaluating community-based interventions and victim service programs. Over the past 15 years, she has evaluated several local, state, and national DV and sexual assault victim service programs.

This training satisfies 1.5 hours of continuing legal educations for purposes of PAAM’s Best Practices Recommendation.
