‘Uneven Ground’ Concert set March 14


The MADL Thursday Night Music Club will host Uneven Ground, 7 to 8 p.m.,  Thursday, March 14, at the  Norton Shores Branch.

Kick off your Saint Patrick’s Day weekend with a performance by one of Muskegon’s most exciting traditional Folk/Celtic bands. Uneven Ground combines their traditional Celtic and Irish music with vocals and instrumentals with  a unique blend of songs molded from hundreds of pub and folk tunes from around the Celtic region.

‘Weathering the Storm’ set
May 23 to September 2


The Muskegon Museum of Art will present “John Steuart Curry: Weathering the Storm,” a showcase reunion of Curry’s most iconic masterpieces and a fresh perspective into the life and art of one of America’s most influential artists.  His paintings depict picturesque rural landscapes, communal gatherings, and  devastating natural disasters that impacted the Midwest, influenced the national perception of life in the region through popular culture and media in the late 1920’s.

WMS presents Cherish The Ladies
concert on March 15


The Grammy-nominated, Irish-American super group Cherish The Ladies returns to bring  a night of traditional Irish music and dance—a performance brimming with energy, wit and spirit.

The concert is set for 7:30 p.m., Friday, March 15, in the Frauenthal Center.
