MSU Law 1L Jasmine Felder was elected Member-At-Large of the National Black Law Students Association (NBLSA). This achievement was realized at the Omni Hotel in Houston, during the NBLSA Convention, March 7 through March 10. Her goal is to help NBLSA serve law students in the Midwest region.
Felder’s path to law began during her undergraduate years at the University of Central Florida, where she pursued Hospitality Management. From there she received her Juris Masters in Legal Risk Management with a 4.0 GPA from Florida State University College of Law.
At MSU Law, Felder serves as a student assistant for the Office of Law Admissions, a Dean’s Public Service Social Justice, and a Kaplan Bar Prep Rep. Moreover, she is a valued member of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) at MSU Law, where she contributes to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for minority students.
This summer, Felder’s commitment to public service takes her to the State Attorney’s Office for Hillsborough County, Fla. She is also set to embark on a journey in the Housing Justice Clinic next year.
