At this training, attendees will learn about preparing to testify; the difference between being an advocate and a witness; communicating with attorney(s); dealing with cross examination; and the most important matter when testifying.
Leading the training will be, Chad D. Catalino, chief public defender for Allegan County. Since entering the practice of law in 2003, Catalino has primarily practiced indigent criminal defense trial law in the Michigan adult and juvenile trial courts as well as becoming the 2013 Michigan Foster Care Review Board’s Parent Attorney of the Year related to his work in the Michigan Abuse Neglect Courts.
