Jackson hosting camp for future female first responders

City of Jackson Police and Fire Services is hosting its first-ever Future Female First Responders Camp June 25-27 for young women looking to explore a career in police, fire or EMS.

Running from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with lunch provided, participants will get hands-on learning experience with women working in public safety careers.

The camp will feature interactive sessions, team-building activities, safety lessons, and opportunities to see what it’s like to work as a first responder.

The camp is open to girls ages 14-18 years old entering high school for the 2024-25 school year. Limited spots available; register online as soon as possible.
