Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ) welcomes attorney Eric Steinberg as 72nd President

 LANSING—On June 1, 2024, Attorney Eric Steinberg began his tenure as the 72nd President of the Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ).

His one-year term runs from June 1, 2024, to May 31, 2025.

Steinberg, an attorney with the Law Offices of Lee Steinberg, PC, represents plaintiffs in all areas of personal injury law, with a focus on automobile negligence, recovery of Michigan no-fault benefits, and premises liability.

Steinberg joined MAJ in 2006 and serves on the organization’s Executive Board and Amicus Committee.  

Steinberg earned a B.A from the University of Michigan in 2001 and a J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2006. While undergoing his legal education, Steinberg worked in the employment discrimination law clinic at Chicago-Kent, helping victims of discrimination receive the compensation and justice they deserved.

Along with Steinberg, new MAJ officers for 2024-2025 include:

Immediate Past President – Jennifer L. McManus, Fagan McManus, PC, Royal Oak

The Michigan Association for Justice, formerly the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association (MTLA), is a trade association of over 1,300 attorneys who represent individuals in injury, employment, civil rights, and criminal matters.

The organization’s staff has offices in Lansing.
