Foster Swift elects four new shareholders

The shareholders of Foster Swift Collins & Smith, P.C. elected Bryan Cermak, Amanda J. Dernovshek, Kevin J. Roragen and Brandon M.H. Schumacher to shareholders.

Dernovshek is an employee benefits attorney in the Business and Tax practice group. Based in Lansing, her practice focuses on issues related to employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), non-qualified deferred compensation plans, qualified retirement plans, and general business planning. She also assists the mergers and acquisitions team.

Roragen is a litigator in the Lansing office and has represented numerous public and private clients in varied litigation matters, primarily in the areas of employment defense, constitutional law, municipal and governmental liability issues, zoning and municipal land use regulation, construction disputes, general commercial and business litigation, as well as tax and other real estate litigation matters.

Schumacher is a one-stop-shop litigator who represents individuals, companies, financial institutions, and municipalities. Schumacher’s legal practice is diverse. Most of his work falls within Business and Commercial Litigation, Construction Litigation, Administrative and Insurance Regulation and Compliance.

Cermak practices in the Southfield office as a trial lawyer and is a former General Counsel for an international, publicly traded company. He litigates business disputes and other commercial and complex cases, and serves corporate clients as a comprehensive legal, risk management and business advisor. Cermak also hosts a video series, “Life, Law & Lessons”.
