‘American Landscapes’ Concert
is set May 30

The West Michigan Symphony will present “American Landscapes,” 7:30 p.m., Friday, May 30, in the Frauenthal Center.

The concert will feature two of Copland’s majestic masterpieces: Fanfare for the Common Man and his third symphony — probably the biggest American symphony ever written.

The season finale also presents Torke’s Sky, written for violinist Tessa Lark, reflecting her Kentucky Bluegrass roots.
