The Jackson Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with AARP Michigan, invites all ages and abilities to participate in the free Walk, Roll, Stroll Jackson series.
Events are scheduled for May 20, June 3, June 17, July 1 and July 15, with registration starting at 6 p.m., warm up at 6:20 p.m. and the program starts at 6:30 p.m. Participants take non-competitive 3-mile routes through local parks. Shorter routes are available.
Events on June 3 and July 1 will be at Ella Sharp; meet in the soccer field parking lot off Birchwood Drive.
Events on May 20, June 17 and July 15 events will be at Cascades; meet at the pavilion off the S. Brown Street parking lot.
Prizes will be awarded at the completion of each event with a grand prize awarded on July 15.
