The Mike Morse Law Firm in Southfield will sponsor its fifth annual “Meet Your Best Friend at the Firm” event on Saturday, June 7 in partnership with Michigan Humane, the oldest and largest nonprofit animal welfare organization in the state.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot of the Mike Morse Law Offices, located at 24901 Northwestern Highway in Southfield. An estimated 200 dogs and cats will be available for adoption through Michigan Humane and a dozen other area rescues. The Mike Morse Law Firm partnership with Michigan Humane has helped more than 1,000 animals find forever homes since the event’s inception in 2021.
“We believe in giving back to the community, not just through legal services, but also through acts of compassion and kindness,” said Mike Morse, founder of the law firm. “We’re thrilled to team up with Michigan Humane to help connect people with pets, a cause that is near and dear to my heart.”
Admission is free, and attendees are encouraged to arrive early as interest in adoptions is expected to be high. For safety reasons, potential adopters are asked to leave current pets at home. Adoption fees and policies may vary slightly by participating groups.
