More than 1,800 students from Saginaw Valley State University earned a spot on the fall 2024 semester Deans' List. Local students were: Xander Barrat of Muskegon; Abram Freye of Norton Shores; and Rhandi Tottingham of Muskegon.
Nicole Beckmann of Muskegon was named to the 2024 fall trimester Dean's List at Palmer College of Chiropractic's Main Campus in Davenport, Iowa.
Cameron Lee from North Shores was awarded a second place in Cedarville University's Center for Pharmacy Innovation Sparx Analytics Datathon.
Gabriella Gaston of Muskegon was inducted into The University of Alabama's Blue Key Honor Society during the Tapping on the Mound ceremony on April 4 during Honors Week. Gaston also was inducted into the Mortar Board National Honor Society.
Grant Gergen of Norton Shores was named to Kettering University's Winter 2025 Dean's List. Gergen is majoring in Engineering.
MarTaven Hardy-Freeman of Muskegon received a Communication Studies Prize in Memory of Charles Baldwin, Henrietta Bancroft, Bishop Joseph Berry, Catherine Hicks Glathart, George Bowen Silliman, and Elsie Verner during Albion College's recent Honors Convocation. Hardy-Freeman recently graduated with a degree in sports communication.
Nikkella Marchmon of Muskegon was named to the Dean's List for the spring 2025 semester at the University of the Cumberlands.
Brandon Macher of Pentwater was named to Southern New Hampshire University's Spring 2025 Dean's List.
Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) named following students to the Spring 2025 President's List: Anna Goldman of Nunica, Garrett Fitzgerald of Muskegon, Elijah Whitman of Norton Shores, Natasha Tornes of Muskegon, Rodney Christopher of Muskegon, and Haley Steiner of Norton Shores.
Grace Latsch of Muskegon, and Caleb Rumley of Muskegon, and were named to the Dean's Honor List for the Spring 2025 semester at Cedarville University in southwest Ohio.
Eliana Bement of Norton Shores, was named to the Dean's List at Cedarville University for Spring 2025.
Muskegon student Brenna Staley was named to Albion College's Dean's List for the Spring 2025 semester.
The following area students were named to the President's List at Trine University, Angola, Ind. Drew Hackney of Norton Shores, majoring in Biology/Pre Physician Ass't Program 3+2; and Kennedy Hosman of Nunica, majoring in Biology/Pre Physician Ass't Program 3+2.
