‘Jackson National Night Out’

Jackson National Night Out, a nationwide program bringing residents, police officers and firefighters closer together through fun-filled events, was held August 5 at Loomis Park. The event was organized by Jackson Police Dept. and City of Jackson Group Violence Intervention Program. The primary sponsor was Meijer; the store gave away 50 backpacks.
