PCIG offers security assistance to firms

Proctor Consulting & Investigations Group (PCIG) has drafted many of the area’s top law enforcement and legal minds to help schools, police departments, municipalities, corporations, and other agencies address the growing need for security and crisis threat preparedness.

In addition to longtime security consultants/investigators Doug Bucher and Mark Paliszewski, among the who’s who consulting with PCIG: former Detroit Police Chief Ike McKinnon; Midland Police Chief Nicole Ford, and Andy Arena, former special agent in charge of the Detroit FBI. Others on the consulting team are former Dearborn Police Chief Ron Haddad, former Sterling Heights Police Chief Dave Vinson, Cooley Law School Professor Ronald Bretz, Lynne Smelser, a cybersecurity expert, former Michigan State Police Commander Ellis Stafford, security expert Cody Hughes, and Criminal Justice Professor Dan Chlebos.
PCIG will audit an agency’s policies and procedures, among other services, Proctor said. That could range from helping to plan for an active shooter to disaster response to weeding out a bad actor.

Both public and private organizations must navigate a host of risk management challenges, including mental health intervention,  workplace violence, asset protection, cybersecurity, disaster response, crisis communications, and outdated emergency plans.

PCIG’s consultants collectively have more than 500 years of experience, and clients include law enforcement agencies, law firms, and Fortune 500 companies.
