Calling all film buffs! Join the Norton Shores Branch of the Muskegon Area District Library, 5:30 to 8 p.m., Monday, Sept. 29, to view the ten top contenders for the Manhattan Short Film Festival.
Be a part of this international film event where over 500 cities across six continents come together to watch the best short films of the year. You will receive a voting card to choose your favorite film and actor which will be sent to the Manhattan Film Festival’s NYC headquarters.

‘The Music of Abba’
set October 3
The world’s top ABBA tribute band, “Direct From Sweden,” joins the West Michigan Symphony to perform full orchestrations of iconic hits like “Dancing Queen,” “Mamma Mia,” “Waterloo,” “S.O.S.,” “Take a Chance on Me,” and many more.
The concert is set 7:30 p.m., Friday, October 3, in the Frauenthal Center.
