Litigation attorney Brian K. Weber joins Butzel in firm’s Lansing office

Brian K. Weber, a litigation attorney, has joined Butzel in the Lansing office. His experience includes providing legal support in appellate law, trial-level litigation, and judicial decision-making. 

A member of the State Bar of Michigan, Ingham County Bar Association and Federalist Society, Weber previously served as a law clerk to Justice Brian K. Zahra of the Michigan Supreme Court and to Judge Joseph L. Falvey, Jr., of the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. 

Weber, who earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Economy, summa cum laude, from Spring Arbor University, received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where he served as an editor of the Journal of Law Reform and earned a Dean’s Scholarship. 

During law school, he worked as a summer associate at a midsize Michigan law firm and as a judicial intern to Judge Stephen J. Murphy, III, of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. where he graduated summa cum laude.

Away from work, Weber’s interests include Detroit and University of Michigan sports, golf, mystery novels, history, and travel.
