fun-filled evening of trivia and friendly competition is set 6 to 7:30
p.m., Monday, January 5, 2026, at the Norton Shores Branch of the
Muskegon Area District Library.
Each month will feature two general knowledge rounds and three themed rounds.
The January theme is sports trivia.

‘Superheroes at the Symphony’

West Michigan Symphony, with conductor Scott Speck, will present
“Superheroes at the Symphony,” 7:30 p.m., Friday, January 30, 2026, at
the Frauenthal Center.
Experience the legendary themes of cinematic superheroes —Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Spider-Man— along with two symphonic masterpieces - Prokoviev’s Romeo &?Juliet Suite, and Stravinsky’s The Firebird Suite - that inspired the iconic film scores.

“Crossroads:
Intersections of Black Family Culture” is an interdisciplinary
exhibition exploring the cultural significance of Black family dynamics
in the Americas.
Organized by the Muskegon Museum of Art in partnership with co-curators Sydney G. James, Scheherazade Washington-Parrish, and Juana Williams, the exhibition comprises artworks of twenty artists from the Detroit area,
The exhibit will include painting, mixed media, photography, and textile based artworks.
The show will run through March 15, 2026.
